Planet Kumára

The Planet

Located some 200 light years from the Earth, Planet Kumára is bigger than the Earth. It is also more distant from its Sun than the Earth is from ours. The greater distance in no way prevents the Sun from providing plenty of light and heat for life to thrive on Planet Kumára.

The overall look of Planet Kumára is the same as the Earth: Blue sky, white clouds, blue oceans, green grass. The various life forms, too, are similar to those of the Earth in that they are based on carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen.

The climate of most of Planet Kumára is mild and pleasant. There are no tropics. The climate around the equator is warm but not as hot as on the Earth. There are a number of major water streams inside the oceans of Planet Kumára that spread the warmth from the equatorial region both to the Northern and Southern hemispheres, thanks to which most of the planet has a very pleasant climate. Naturally, the closer you would move to the poles, the colder it gets, and the poles themselves are frozen, but the bulk of the planet is quite livable.

There is no polution on Planet Kumára. While the population of the planet is considerably larger than that of the Earth, the Kumárans are much more advanced technologically. They know how to manage their resources and protect their environment. Perhaps because their life span is much longer than that of the human population of the Earth, they are well aware of the need to preserve all of their resources for the future.

Kumáran architecture is always designed with the environment in mind. It blends with nature.

Because of all of this, Planet Kumára is breathtakingly beautiful.

It may be of interest that Planet Kumára is very rich on gold. While the Earth has an iron core, the center of Planet Kumára is mostly gold. That said, the Kumárans do not attempt to extract gold from the center of their planet. They do not have to. There is plenty of it all over the planet.

Indeed, gold gave the planet its name, as kumára simply means gold in one of the ancient languages of Planet Kumára.

Because of its excellent physical and chemical properties as well as its wide availability, gold is commonly used in applications where the humans of the Earth would not dream of using it, such as household electric wiring.
